A 60’s HOME GETS A NEW KITCHEN

A 60’S HOME GETS A BIG KITCHEN MAKEOVER
Carol and Doug Tallman love their North Vancouver home and see no plans of ever moving. The old home however was in need of some renovations in order to keep up with the demands of daily life. During our consultation phase, when we asked the Tallman’s about their previous experience working with a home renovation company their response was “The last renovation dragged on and on.” Knowing this, we realized there was some apprehension in hiring a new company out of the worry they would experience the same frustration. So, we did everything in our power to make this renovation process as easy, stress free and seamless as possible.
Their goals for renovating the kitchen included opening up the space, adding a lot more storage and counter space, and creating an area that was functional but also inviting for guests. They also wanted to achieve a warm, heritage/craftsman feel and avoid anything that looked too modern, cold, or sleek. On top of the kitchen reno, they also wanted to replace the majority of their home’s windows, which we were happy to do.
The final outcome is a gorgeous kitchen, inspired by charming craftsman details, and meets their daily needs and allows for a great space to entertain guests as well.
